About 0.5L diving cylinders and accessories

【5-10mins Underwater Experience】HOUVAN mini scuba tank has 0.5L capacity. At a depth of 5 meters, you can take approximately 35 breaths (based on a test at 200 bar). In terms of time, this is roughly equivalent to swimming underwater for 5 to 10 minutes. Actual usage time may depend on external factors such as water temperature, diving experience, and breathing rate.

【Portable Design】HOUVAN mini scuba tank is only 1.5kg when it is empty. Compared to the traditional oxygen cylinders, SEBIger scuba tank is smaller and lighter, so you can carry it easily. You can take it in your luggage for airplane journeys. What’s more, there is no skill requirement to an amateur.

【Various Inflation modes】The 8mm one-way inflation valve of scuba diving tank can connect the refill adapter to fill up. Usually, you can use a bigger bottle to guide vials. Also, you can use the high-pressure hand pump or electronic pump. The former one takes about 25-30 minutes, the electronic one takes about 8-10 minutes. In addition, if there is a diving store, you can ask for help.

【Quality Guarantee】The whole bottle of scuba tank is made of 6061 aviation aluminum, with 4mm thickness, which is more Anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion. The working pressure is no more than 3000PSI/200bar/20Mpa. Once the inside pressure exceeds the safety value, the explosion-proof copper sheet will burst to reduce pressure. Don’t worry about explosion. Our products have passed DOT certification.

There are three ways to inflate the tank:

1. A manual high-pressure pump, which takes approximately 600 pumps to inflate a 0.5-liter diving tank.

2. A diving adapter with an 8mm inflation fitting, used to connect a large tank to a small one; a 0.5-liter tank can be filled in 6 seconds.

3. A dedicated air compressor, which takes approximately 12 minutes to inflate the tank.

If you have dedicated diving inflation equipment, you can inflate the tank yourself. Please note that the equipment must meet the following four requirements:

(1) The inflation fitting must be an 8mm female connector;

(2) Operating pressure must be ≥20 MPa;

(3) It must be equipped with an oil-water separator (purpose: a device for filtering air);

(4) It must be explicitly stated that the equipment is suitable for inflating diving cylinders.

Our mini high-pressure manual pump typically takes 35–45 minutes to fully inflate a 0.5L cylinder, making it a relatively time-consuming and labor-intensive method. We recommend using it as a backup inflation device.(All operations must be performed strictly in accordance with the instructions.

If you hold a diving certification, you can opt for inflation services at most dive shops.
